I don't know whether you call this a small pot tuber or a root clump, but it has a very nice sprout regardless. Nice dahlia! I purchased this 2024 release for $35 as a virus free cutting, and it didn't produce any extra tubers, so the one is what you get! But hopefully it will produce more tubers this year with you growing it from a tuber rather than from a cutting. One thing to note is that this variety has a pending trademark, which will mean that if you want to sell its tubers after June 2025 you will need to either not list the variety name or pay a 10% royalty to the breeder once the trademark is in effect, but you can save all you want for yourself, and the trademark does not prevent selling as long as the royalty is paid or the variety name is not listed in the sale.
