For some reason, many of the blooms have open centers (most during the heat), even though I saw the plants that the tubers were from, and they didn't have open centered flowers. So I don't know whether this is due to my growing conditions or whether it's actually in the genetics, but I'm reducing my price to compensate for it. This variety would usually sell for $15 to $20, but I'll be listing it for $8 in case this really is a genetic issue that's resulting in the open centers. This photo is my own from these plants this season, but only a few were this nice; the blooms later in the season were more full than earlier in the season, but still many of them have more of an open center and less petals.
